WG advertising and other things I noticed

Hi all,

after the pricing plan for WGs has changed, four days ago I decided to give the Premium Profile a chance for one month.

While paying attention to some things a bit more than usual I noticed several things I'm not happy about and which I want to share. Of cause I know that attracting customers is none of Utherverse's/RLC's business, but at least they could and should support the functionality they offer...

So here is the list of my findings:
  • there is no music in Bareback Bordello
  • there are still eight rooms in Bareback Bordello not useable (basically all private rooms on 2nd floor)
  • you ain't get any information on the uploaded WG Billboard ad if it was accepted or not
  • after four days my ad isn't shown in Bareback Bordello, the WG Boulevard or the Cam Girls Alley
  • while clicking on one of the ads (in above mentioned locations) it doesn't show you the actual WG profile but only takes you to this page: https://wg.redlightcenter.com/
  • at least in Bareback Bordello they are showing almost at least three identical ads at the same time
  • some of the the WG ads are showing profiles, which you can't even find in the WG listings (maybe inactive profiles?)
  • if you edit your WG profile with Chrome or MS Edge browser and underline a sentence/word, it will completely vanish after saving

Unfortunately to me appears they don't really care about this business much/at all (?).

What are your impressions on this?

Hi Susi! There should be some music in the Bordello now!

It looks like the Bordello door rentals aren't really picking up, so I can swap out some of the rental doors for rooms people can use.

The WG ads appear to be bugged right now. I've let our team know so they can try to fix them. The ads are flash based, so I'm not sure if they'll be fixable right away. If they can't be fixed by the end of next week, I'll see about replacing the WG billboard spots with regular ad spots. This will mean submitting ads in a different way, but they will function properly and take people directly to the correct WG Profile listing.

I've also let the team know about the disappearing underlined text problem, which is pretty weird.

I'm not sure what you did here, but all doors on the ground level don't work anymore, I always end up at Transport. Huh
Luckily most of the rooms on the first floor are now all available again and working, except number V, here I get a permission denied.

Why do the signs at the stairs actually state second floor? That would mean entrance area is first floor and there is a hidden ground floor... OhMyGod

In North America and a few other countries the ground floor is counted as first floor and the one above as second etc.
You might be European like I am and count floors differently.

Alright, so the WG ads are going to work a little differently until the automated system can be repaired. For now, you can open a WG ticket or email wg@redlightcenter.com to submit your billboard, and we'll pop it into rotation in the manual spots that have been added. Ads should be 1024x1024 (512x512 also works, but it doesn't look as nice). The rules for WG ads are still the same, we're just adding them individually.

I believe I've managed to add all the billboards for people who still have an appropriate, active WG plan type, however if I missed anyone please open a WG ticket or email wg@redlightcenter.com so it can be added.

Also, the WG rental doors have been replaced with more bedrooms for people to use.

Also also, the downstairs doors should work again.
